This was my second visit with Al at Chopped PhD, and once again, he provided great customer service. He is friendly, professional, and efficient, and he asks the right questions to ensure you get the cut (bald and beard trim) you want. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere and is conveniently located in Center City near Rittenhouse Square and the hotels around 17th, Market, and Chestnut Streets. I especially recommend Al to anyone visiting from out of town who needs a quality cleanup or to Philadelphia residents looking for a new barber.

Great first experience with barbet Alphonso! I immediately felt comfortable, and he did an excellent job with my head shave and beard trim. Great conversation, clean shop, and a convenient Center City location. It’s been a long time since I left a barbershop feeling this good about my cut. I’ll definitely be back!
