Great first experience with barbet Alphonso! I immediately felt comfortable, and he did an excellent job with my head shave and beard trim. Great conversation, clean shop, and a convenient Center City location. It’s been a long time since I left a barbershop feeling this good about my cut. I’ll definitely be back!

Wayne is the man! Alphonso is also great to talk to and a good guy. The people are super chill and down to share a few laughs. Being that it was my first time in Philly, the city and its people did not disappoint. If you need a haircut, I highly recommend ChoppedPhd.

Al has been my barber/stylist for at least the past 20 years. I travel from the burbs because finding a professional with his skillset is not easy these days! I have brought other family members and referred friends to him as new clients and for special occasions. Don’t take my word for it just go try him out for yourself…you can thank me later. Just tell him that “Doc” sent you. 👌🏾
